Buddy also was on the

“ Olympic Whitewater Rescue Team” as a  Whitewater Rescue Kayaker for the

1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, and a Whitewater Rescue team member as a Rescue Kayaker  for the

United States Olympic Team Trials Whitewater Slalom,

Buddy has been involved in over 300 water rescues and has over 2000 hours of volunteer time in environmental cleaning projects of rivers and lakes. Buddy also is a rock climbing and rope rescue instructor and has certification in but not limited to:

Coastal Kayaking-Instructor, River Canoeing  Tandem and Solo -Instructor, Flatwater Canoeing  Tandem and Solo -Instructor, Swift Water Rescue for Paddlers-Instructor, Instructor River Rescue-Instructor, Basic River Rescue –Instructor, Basic Ice Rescue-Instructor, Instructor Ice Rescue-Instructor, Certified Scuba Diver (PADI), Red Cross Advanced CPR, Red Cross Advanced First Aid, Red Cross First Responder, US Coast Guard Auxiliary-Boating Skills and Seamanship Course, Licencia Navegacion y Seguridad Acuatica de PR Ley#430, (aprobada por Departamento Recursos Naturales y National Association of State Boating Law Adm.)
